    About this Event

Peg Roessler , KARE 11’s Rena Sarigianopoulos and CCX Media’s Shannon Slatton will share tips for getting your good news featured on local television, including:

    • What makes journalists open a pitch from a public relations professional
    • What makes journalists delete a pitch!
    • Making sure reporters/producers don’t regret saying yes to your idea

You’ll hear the perspective and learn about the roles of the publicist, the reporter/ program host and the producer.

    Come with questions!

Peg Roessler operates Peg Roessler Public Relations and recently launched an online PR course to teach people how to get their brand on TV - in a positive way. In her 35+ years of experience, Peg has booked more television segments that she can count, for some of your favorite local brands, including Bachman’s, Parade of Homes/Artisan Home Tour, The Galleria, and The Science Museum of Minnesota.

Come for networking at 7:30 am. The program starts at 8 am.
