MAGC is pleased to present a program that showcases Northern Lights Contest-winning projects and the creators who made them.

We’ll learn more about some of the best work our colleagues have been doing, with a bit of Q&A time for each project. Let’s get inspired as we look ahead to making 2020 our best year yet.

Attend just the morning Showcase (non-video projects), just the afternoon Film Festival (video projects), or stay for both, depending on your interests and availability.

$15 attendance fee includes a box lunch at noon.

Jumpstart your organization’s mission and vision statement rewrites with a picture of “why.”

    About this Event

Writing or updating mission and vision statements can be a frustrating “design by committee” process. The people involved have to navigate two different tasks – picking the right ideas to include and picking the right words to communicate those ideas. Without a clear process, the two tasks get mixed up in committee meetings, causing confusion and setbacks.

The affable Al Onkka, principal consultant at Aurora Consulting, explains how to create a Theory of Change document and how you can use it to better communicate your “why.” Here’s a quick video about Al’s Theory of Change

Aurora Consulting is a Minnesota-based firm serving nonprofits. Al helps leaders evaluate the impact of their organizations and plan for the future.

Come for networking at 7:30 am. The program starts at 8 am.
