Jake Sturgis, APR

After working in communications for two metro school districts, Jake Sturgis launched Captivate Media + Consulting in 2014 to help school districts, nonprofits and government agencies communicate more effectively. His work has garnered national attention, leading to multiple awards and public speaking engagements on visual storytelling and authentic student engagement.

Jenna Mead

As Director of Partnerships at Captivate Media + Consulting, Jenna collaborates with clients on story development, and has seen firsthand the impact of a powerful story and a well-thought-out integrated strategy. She draws from her background as a multimedia TV journalist as she currently produces and interviews guests on the Sparkwheel podcast.
