Telling stories is at the heart of a communicator’s work. The 2018 Minnesota Association of Government Communicators Fall Conference covered the different ways to connect with audiences through effective storytelling. Attendees learned about the latest social media trends, discovered how to stay on point during a crisis, and heard how others are using stories to convey their organizations’ messages. And, for the first time at the Fall Conference, the afternoon featured concurrent technical and creative sessions, and a cash bar reception afterward to network with peers.
