The old adage, “The Only Constant in Life is Change,” could not be more true for the communications profession these days. As our communities become more diverse, we face challenges of how to effectively reach these new audiences, engage them in the public process and communicate about issues that are important to them.

MAGC’s 2016 Fall Conference, “Communicating in a Diverse World,” addressed these challenges with meaningful discussions and hands-on learning experiences that provided participants with practical tools to help be successful in their outreach.

The conference took place Thursday, October 27 at the University of Minnesota Continuing Education and Conference Center in St. Paul.
