Northern Lights Judge Sign-Up

It’s that time a year again where the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators is looking for your help in judging some top-notch communications work out of North Carolina.

If you haven’t judged in the past, let us share a little bit about the process:

• MAGC has a mutual agreement with NC3C (North Carolina version of MAGC) which states we judge each other’s awards submissions, ensuring a non-biased grading system. 
• By following the link below and signing up to be a judge, you will receive an email between Feb. 7 and Feb. 14 alerting you that your assigned submissions are ready to be judged. 
• Generally, each individual judge is asked to grade 5-15 entries within a specific category. The more judges we have sign up, the fewer entries you need to judge – so, tell your friends and share this email!
• Judging assignments are to be completed by March 7. 

Why would I want to judge North Carolina’s work? Great question! Here’s why:
Not only is this a great opportunity for folks to get some ideas for their own community, it’s also the easiest way to save some cash on your award submissions for MAGC’s Northern Lights Contest, plus you get a cheaper ticket to the Awards Ceremony! 
By judging our partner organization’s work, you:

• Receive $5 off each of your award entries for our contest, which opens in mid-March.
• Get $10 your Northern Lights Award Ceremony entry ticket
