Learn strategies on how to engage residents of rural communities when working on public facing projects. This presentation will focus on transportation and mobility and will highlight the work done by Patty in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, on a self-driving shuttle pilot, called goMARTI. 

Patty Day started Stardust Communications in 2020 and has over 19 years of public relations, journalism, communications and engagement experience. She has worked in many public facing fields including transit, transportation, government, construction and politics. Patty is passionate about bringing an equity lens to engagement work and has experience connecting with a variety of communities in person, online and by fostering relationships with community leaders.
